Have just returned from UK (hier), yes of course, we will be delighted to lend you Carmen Jones, it's the Otto Preminger production with Dorothy Dandridge ,Harry Belafonte and Pearl Bailey. You will read that the voices of Dorothy Dandridge and Harry Belafonte are dubbed by Marilyn Horne and Leverne Hutcherson, strange when they were both known for their singing ability, however, Pearl Bailey is not dubbed.
What date have you in mind for the start of your season?
We are preparing for visitors next week but will try to pop it over to you (if you are in our area you are welcome to pop in for coffee), otherwise we do plan to attend the FET for Burton on 21st this month.
Hope all is well with you both, look forward to some super Opera evenings this Winter.

for those who do not know we bought a complete cinema system on TAG about 4 years ago, the big screen and surround sound are great. The first evening with CARMEN JONES will be Wed 26th October.
