Traffic chaos, cars banked up up the bank out of St. Antonin, round the streets and parking was a nightmare. Barriers to keep people safe from traffic on the road, often totally overlooked by happy holidaymakers straying as normal on to the roads. The blokes in their yellow safety gilets and walkie talkies, having a whale of a time enjoying the power... but not necessarily making good traffic choices.
Security changes like this with traffic lights need thinking about well ahead and actually today I think caused unnecessary chaos.
The previous rumour was all about safety on the roads but it is amazing what sort of spin can be put on it by people who want to blame refugees for everything.
My boys were impeccably behaved and had a lovely morning greeting friends from their days at Rehoboth.
