Lorry drivers have begun a go-slow on the A16 autoroute outside Calais to demand that the dismantlement of the "jungle" migrant camp. They will be joined by local residents and businesses who think that the aggravation and threatening behaviour of those migrants intent on getting to the UK is affecting their businesses.
Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve announced on Friday the immediate ending of the camp, though as yet no plans have been published as to how this will be achieved or where the 7000-9000 migrants will be sent.
Meanwhile travellers via Calais, Boulogne and Dunkirk to Dover and vice versa can expect delays today.
