Is this the end?

Temperature forecast today is 33°C and tomorrow 21°C. In between (ie during the night) we could have some thundery rain. Several departments to the west of our region have been placed under orange alert for storms and heavy rain and the rest of the week should see showers and sunny intervals, but temperatures down by about 10° on what we have been getting used to.
The strong southerly winds we expect today should die away, but change direction towards the west over  the week.

For many of us, and our animals and gardens, it will be a welcome relief, but with many holidaymakers still in the area let's hope it is a more of a  gentle move into autumn than a stormy end to summer.
