“We are a couple from the UK and would like to rent a place in or alongside Laguépie. We have always liked the town and knew it well from our stays in my sister’s place in Najac over three decades. We are looking for a minimum of two bedrooms, self-catering accommodation with exclusive use and intend to stay in July and into August, anything from 6 to 8 weeks. We normally live in Scotland but have a flat in Birmingham as well which we go to from time to time. The reason for a minimum of two bedrooms is that it is possible that friends/family might pop in to stay with us for short periods if they knew we were there! Comfortable seating in the living room, a washing machine, internet access and, ideally and an outside sitting area would all be good. Jenifer speaks good French and I am pretty much bilingual. We shall have our own car with us.
We would much rather be in the town or in a village within walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurant etc. both of us are retired, very active and have friends in the region. If July/August does not suit then we would consider August/September.
