Ruthenois in Heidenheim

The Fencing club of Rodez, L'escrime Rodez Aveyron, has won the European club epée championship in Germany, beating another French club in the final.

The Ruthenois fencers beat Hungarian, Czech and Spanish teams en route to the final, before winning their first European title. The club includes twice Olympic champion Fabrice Jeannet amongst its members and he captained the team.
