Angry birds

Not a computer game, but a grouping if south west poultry breeders who have set up a Facebook page called "Canards en Colère". Hit by bird flu for some weeks now there have been severe restrictions on the movement of ducks and geese around the region. Although the disease it not generally transferable to humans nor is the meat unfit for consumption, the disease can lead to losses of stock and is very contagious to the birds.
The farmers want the end of the "vide sanitaire" which has required all eleveurs to destroy all infected birds and to rid the farms of non-infected birds (by selling them) and keeping the farm empty until it has been  disinfected. Even then they cannot bring in new stock until the ban is lifted.
The new group wants to put pressure on the Minister, Stephane le Foll, to lift the restrictions which they claim are threatening the whole "gras" sector.
