We went yesterday to see Julia and the two donkeys who now live up near Espinas. The young French family who have farmland at Mas del Sol but no farmhouse have spent two years looking for what they needed.
They are now renting a superb farm with enough land for Filou and Coco, the donkeys I looked after for two years. They have a stone barn next to the house and have settled well.
For Julia and family it is an ideal place, very quiet and beautiful.
Lovely to see everyone so happy.
She did know my donkey girls were not quite as happy, neighbours had told her that my donkeys hee hawing for the males can be heard across the valley.
