We hear the concert in Varen church was a lovely event.
We had a last minute visit from a cousin passing through on their way from Spain going back to the UK. Lovely to see family you have not seen for many years. On her computer she had downloaded a wedding video of a wedding from 49 years ago... and it was ours. Great to see our young selves and all the family members, many now passed on. At that time close family and aunts and uncles all lived round about. No thoughts then from anyone that we would go off living around the world. Now we are all scattered throughout Europe, some in America and Australia.
The changes in family life in 50 years seemed more pronounced after watching that video.
