Fête de la musique

To mark the start of summer and annual Fete de la musique there will be concerts everywhere, often free. We have three events marked in our diary: Saturday afternoon in Varen church, a baroque vocal concert at 3pm; Saturday evening from 7pm at the Domaine de Sautou, Castanet, with a concert of popular songs from the various French, Celtic and worldwide traditions from Arno, Nigel and Benito.
Then Sunday 21st at 6pm the sub editor and his colleagues in the Voices chorale, together with the charming choirs of children and "ados", in the beautiful chapel of the Penitents Noirs in Villefranche.
