aka Mystic Meg, and Malcolm. Alliteratively Mystic Malcolm would have been much better.
I took the little terrier to the vet at Laguépie, and with one wave of the wand and a couple of clicks of a mouse they established that this was Jack, a resident of Villevayre. He was also apparently found near Lagépie recently, so he’s obviously a serial wanderer.His owner has just collected him, so relative calm has been restored chez nous.

Womderful how quickly you can be connected to your dog if it is chipped.
Interestingly when I took the old labrador in a few weeks ago that had been found in Varen, the stand in vet felt very strongly that the owners of wandering dogs should be made to pay a fine, as it is always the same dogs that keep being found. He does have a point.
