Ryanair opens flights at Toulouse

Yesterday (Wednesday) saw the inaugural flights from Toulouse Blagnac airport by low-cost operator Ryanair. The first destination is Berlin and in November six more destinations will be added, including London Stansted, Madrid and Warsaw. Fares are from 19.99 euros one way.
Blagnac has 30% of its flights operated by low-cost airlines EasyJet and Volotea and this should rise to 45% by 2020. The airport handles 8 million passengers a year, rising to 10 millions by the end of the decade. Ryanair this year ended its link with Rodez airport which was used by many locals and their families for trips to the UK.
