I think it must be my favourite time of year, pleasant temperatures and beginning with the autumn colours.
The markets are full of bright coloured fruit and vegetables. The donkeys are getting regular apple treats. I love it as they crunch the apples and juice runs from their lips, a cider press at work.
Fortunately the figs are nearly finished, the dogs have developed a taste for them which means they need to get up through the night for " doggy business"
The cats spend the evenings mousing under the warm starry nights so we get the bed to ourselves.
Win, win situations all round.
