The company has made airline cockpit carpets and other protective covers and decided that it could make lingerie that protected elderly people from harm if they suffered a fall. Also incorporating silver thread into knickers would help to protect from infections ( it is already quite widely used in men's socks).
The range is on sale from 25-85 euros and the company hopes to sell 12000 garments this year.
