Le Jardin des Paradis under new management

Le Jardin des Paradis: pic Myriam Brisse
The remarkable garden in Cordes sur Ciel has suffered in recent years from lack of funds, depending on volunteers to keep going. Now it has been taken over by Cecile Troux, a horticulturalist who trained originally as a pharmacist.
Working for several years as a market gardener she is now aiming to bring her expertise with unusual fruit varieties to make this a park with a difference. Planned to re-open to the public on 3rd June visitors will be able to walk and relax in the beautiful surrounds of the garden on the edge of historic Cordes (one of France's favourite villages) as well as having a chance to buy fruit or home made jams from the garden's produce.
