Many enjoyed the evening

An evening in the beautiful Jardins de Quercy, with a walk earlier followed by a soiree of music followed by an apero dinatoire. The singer on the evening was Catherine Mayoly mezzo soprano and she was much enjoyed as was the apero dinatoire later. Such a beautiful setting with such charming hosts as Jean Donies and Alain his partner and then the aperos provided by Winnie and Jean Marie Nosal.  All proceeds for the evening going to Via Sahel Enfants  d' Afrique and the Cambodian school supported by les Jardins de Quercy. The evening was a real mix of nationalities and that is so lovely to see so many nations working together for the children of Mali and Cambodia. We, who have so much, helping small children who have nothing. Does your heart good.
Val says  Winnie Nosal has just told me that there were 149 people there, at 15 euros a head that money split between those two charities will be well spent. Winnie sends her thanks to all.

Deserves a post of its own really. Our 12 year old granddaughter at the jardins took this picture of this frog, Iga Rewse Davies looked at our beautiful leggy granddaughter and remarked as she went off with Malc's camera ''she will be off looking for frogs to kiss", well, blow me down what did she come back with but this picture. Sharki as she likes to be called [Charlotte]  did not fancy the kissing bit. Her Prince will come but not too soon we hope.
Click on the picture to see what a handsome Prince I am.[or am I just a frog]
