RUNAWAY DOG NEEDS HELP

A lively little hunting dog turned up in our neighbourhood quite a few days ago. Tan with two white front paws and a curly tail, he is beagle-sized but looks more like a long-haired dachshund. He has made great friends with our neighbour’s dog, Gucci, but is shy of humans. Has anyone heard of a huntsman missing his dog? Or is there an experienced dog lover who could manage to catch him?
