Pierre Fabre who lived in the Tarn has died after a long illness. You will remember we have discussed this businessman in the past, in fact it is not long since Francois Hollande visited his pharmaceutical laboratories at Castres. The Depeche describes his death as " mort d' un grand patron" and this charismatic man did support many sporting clubs in the Tarn including Castres Rugby Club. When Malc was having some physiotherapy in a Castres hospital he shared a room with a worker at the firm and he told Malc how Pierre was a great philanthropist and supported amongst others the man's handball team. I think the church at Lavaur will be packed for this man's funeral.
