The LPO, the league for protection of birds have set up feeding stations around Villefranche but sadly they have found one red kite and five buzzards poisoned. The birds bodies have been analyzed and it was proved not to be accidental deaths but poisoning. The red kite was ringed and found to be from Germany originally.
