The date sometime in 1939, the place they are passing through in France is not known, but note the presence of a French gendarme. I like these photos so much, as all these Spanish men and families integrated and it gives me hope that will happen with our present young men.
Delighted that one of our first boys now has enough French to get into Albi University and another has got a job as a mechanic in a garage.
