Just wanting to introduce myself and Roger who are newly arrived in St Antonin, Rog having retired (almost - he’s working a bit in the UK until end Oct)). We are excited to be here, but as many of you before us, we have a lot to do making our new house a home. We have 2 young dogs - one of which is a puppy - blue staffie, and very naughty, with some bad habits which I am struggling to help her to change. I am therefore looking for a puppy trainer who can help me socialise her and teach her some better manners…. Any visitors to us so far will understand that her exuberance can be off-putting. She was so excited to see the delivery man the other day jumping up at him while he desperately tried to give me my parcel that he ran into the house to get away from her and then ran away once he had got out again. Comical now but intensely embarrassing at the time!
I’m also looking for anyone who can teach me basic wood sculpture and mosaic although I have found classes at U P in Caussade, but if there was anyone closer to St Ant, who wants to teach skills in exchange for some €s or - I used to be a French teacher at one time so could exchange for French lessons??
Here’s a photo of our dogs so if you see us around please say hello/woof!

Val says hi both
I will ask Anke Terbruggen about the training ( although she is not doing private training at the moment) and maybe she can discuss the puppy party with you.
Any ideas from readers about the wood sculpture etc.?
