Nous sommes le mercredi sept decembre

Will we have yet another sunny day, early signs are good.
Last night we had a visit from good friend Jean Marie Nosal who has spent the last 40 years of his life raising money for the children in Bamako, Mali. He tells us that his school is doing well and he hopes next year that the costs and running of it will be picked up by the government. As are we all he is getting on and he knows that he cannot go on working the way he has forever. Moves have got to be in place for others in Mali to carry on his good work. He is planning a trip at the beginning of next year to check everything is going well with the school, hospital and baby centre all of which he founded. He is still raising money for them but knows he needs the state to pick up their responsibilities.
He also invited us to an exposition of his fathers work. His father was the artist Cosme de Scoraille and some of his work is being exhibited and sold in the GALERIE DU CAUSSE, at Villeneuve d' Aveyron, in the Espace Jean Marie Périer. The vernissage is Saturday 10 Decembre  at 17 h
The expo is on for 3 months and open every day except Monday 9h à 12 h and 15h to18.30h,
other exhibitors include Jacques Villatte,Charles de Rodat, Gerard Ebellé Marcel and Béatrice de Robiano
