Our friend Jean Marie Nosal arrived from the Domaine de Sautou and had to dash to the window to watch the sunset.
As the sky was on fire, the lights of Varen came on twinkling.
Now you might think it odd but it always reminds me of visiting a friend in San Francisco and the view from his apartment looking down to the Golden Gate was amazing, lights twinkling everywhere.
Not the same scale looking down on Varen, but it always reminds me of that moment.
It was just a wonderful day and evening wasn't it?
I cleaned out the pooh from the stable just to bring me down to earth.
