Last French hostage free

Nouane Houas was abducted in Yemen last December when she was working for the International Red Cross. She was co-ordinating a programme of aid for the IRC when she was taken by masked men said to be shiite rebels.
The agreement for her release was negociated by the sultanate of Oman, acting for the French government. Nourane was the only French national still held by foreign kidnappers.
