What a super way to spend an autumnal morning in Saint Antonin.
Lots of friends, lots of love, lots of books and DVD's and without asking lots of monetary donations, warm clothes, even some super pans, for the new refugees coming soon direct from Calais to Bruniquel.
Is it only a year ago since we were going through the same motions for the Rehoboth refugees? How time flies and even though it takes an age for asylum applications to be processed, 7 of our young men are rapidly learning French and fitting in to their new lives here.
Malc and I were delighted to see so many new faces and also to put names to faces of people who have contributed to TAG over the years.
I took this photo after we had packed up all the books back into the car and as I stood surrounded by conkers looked up the street and once again thanked my lucky stars for our wonderful life in this historic village and its beautiful surrounding area.
Hardly suprising that the town attracts film makers... Charlotte Gray and 100 Foot Journey have both been filmed here.
