Pupils at a Toulouse lycée were shocked when a young man on a trials motorbike sped into the schoolyard via the entrance for bicycles. He seems then to have lost control of the bike and two pupils were injured. The man fled the scene leaving the moto in the récré.
Gendarmes were able to trace him simply from the immatriculation of the bike. With a long history of misdeeds, including theft, drug trafficking and violence, the 20 year old was seemingly just showing off, doing "wheelies" before crashing the bike. Now under arrest he is lucky not to have added serious injury or worse to his criminal record. The school has posted a guard at the gate, but the horse has well and truly bolted.
