Puycelsi stars

Dear Val

Thank you saying how much you enjoyed the concert and yes both Ross and I did enjoy it so much as well. Zena Baker was absolutely sublime singing the soprano solo in Kyiere in the Hyden's Nelson Mass. Our first star.

The second star is that Puycelsi has just been awarded a green Michelin star as somewhere worth visiting in its latest guide. St Antoinin and Cordes may have had them longer but they're bigger and not only does the village or town which holds the star have to be of historic and archietectual merit, it has to have an active life. Not bad for a village with only about 90 full time inhabitants.

and finally, Puycelsi has just been chosen to star in a documentry to be made by the BBC Natural History over a year starting in November. They will be filming here each month to show the changes in the wild life with the seasons. I think this is really important not only for us but for the area as we are not the only place with rare birds, animals and insects and the lasting impact for eco tourism can only be good for the area. The film will be shown on both French and British TV in 2017
