Our niece, her soon to be new husband and four children were on their way to us last night travelling overnight by ferry. Listening to news this morning, ferries were briefly stopped overnight and traffic is building on both sides of the channel. The stop seemed to be due to migrant activity on the French side.
They are going to be exhausted when they do arrive.
Fortunately Grandad Tudor, who flew with James one of the older children yesterday, arrived here tired last night.
If you are moving around, hope you or travelling family have easy journeys to arrive safely.
Just heard they were delayed but are now on their way.
