Not dogs last night giving us a disturbed night but wood smoke. About 3 am we were woken with strong wind battering nearby trees but more worryingly was the strong smell of wood smoke. I got up, threw on a few clothes and went out to see where the fire was. With family in one house, us in another and dogs and cats in the dependance, I needed to check. All was safe but the smell got stronger and stronger, somewhere over towards Verfeil there was a fire. We are searching the Depeche to find out if a barn has been burnt down. The smell is still here this morning.
Anyone who can tell us what and where it was?
