All services restored thank heavens, lots of tidying of grounds to do. The poor renters in the gite, 5 and a baby used all the hot water before the storm so have been without hot water, electricity, phone, internet. The poor things, they say they have never see winds like that, 130 kms an hour.
Malc and I had a problem with the glazed door in the kitchen in the storm. It burst open and I managed to catch it before it smashed but then could not close it. Malc and I stood for ten minutes, seemed like twenty trying to push the door closed against the force of the wind.

Julia of Verfeil says their electricity did not come on till 5 pm today, 45 hours with out electricity.
