Well today will be our last ever change over in the gite, 5 going out, 2 coming in for two weeks.
For those who have gites you know it is all systems go as one says goodbye to the departing, trying to get them to leave by 10 am. Beds to strip and remake, clean and tidy the house, check for breakages then prepare for the next group in. The window for this work is about four hours and a lot depends on how clean the out going group have left the house, how long you need. It is also the time to clean the pools, mow lawns, tidy up the garden games, shop for the arrival pack... then sit back and say phew!
