Normally they need ordering the day before but because the freezer had defrosted the battered fish needed eating. Who were we to turn down a chance of battered fish. (the Moulin used to serve breaded fish thinking we would like it; now they realise battered fish is what we want) Poor Martine and Alain lost electricity for 48 hours and their "congelateur" defrosted, hundreds of pounds worth of produce lost. They are busy filling in claim forms and hoping the storm will be classed as a national disaster to make their claim simpler. They are worried about small print which says rain or grele you can claim for but not for winds. These concerns must be happening with restaurants throughout the area.
