When I bought my house in the village it was a charming uninhabited shabby unfashionable backwater. Now it has been turned into a tarts knicker drawer by the English nouveau riche,property developers and French white trash, aided by the Mayor who is a total asshole.
Val says there is a debate here. We buy into a village because it looks charmingly French and then we change it. Is it for the better or worse?
