"Little Mrs busybody" gets back exhausted

I have just said to Malc" do you get embarrassed by me?" fortunately he said "no" and laughed. I think I asked as quite often I embarrass myself.
What a brilliant book swap, brilliant choice of books, lovely people all with tales to tell... and me to listen to!
We took loads of money for the Picnic in the Park, all of which will go to street children in Mali, not as someone joked Malc's pension fund.
I promoted the Salon du jardin and hopefully got lots of people interested, it is not till Sat July 19th but you keen gardeners will want to be pushing on vegetables I am sure.
I met two couples who are holiday homers in St. Antonin who could not come to the "Picnic in the Park" but so liked the idea of money going directly to the hospital and school the Nosals have built over the years in Bamako that they both gave me a donation, which will feed a child there for months. My grateful thanks to you.
I met a delightful French couple having a day out from Figeac. He was a "tapissier"  and his partner was so proud of him and his skills. They are going to send information about his atelier where he has worked for 30 years and they gave me his website as we talked  www.latelier46.fr   and they are planning on having a day out to the Salon du Jardin in Varen
A slight downside this morning when we all heard a car smash and Malc realised someone had run into the back of our parked car. No one was hurt and "worse things happen at sea"  I am rotten I throw these sayings in to make our French and Dutch readers scratch their heads! I love French expressions so why not teach a few of ours.
Enjoyed a quick talk with Dave who does not agree with my theories of why the local FN vote was so high. Drop me a post Dave, every morning  Malc says " I don't agree with you on that" so I am sure there are many more of you that have views different to mine. TAG is for you, not just for me.
I have a box full of posts NFT, not for Tag, but posts are what make TAG interesting and none of us agree on everything.
Now I am off to sort out bags of books for next months swap, some off to Emmaus and others back next month.
Val says again  Can you remember "little old Mrs Pepperpot by Alf Proysen?
