When I was at the Domaine de Sautou I promised I would bring a group to Mas del Sol, just because I wanted to see more of them, in fact if the group goes missing you will know who the culprit is.
From left to right we have Mamadoo from Mali and yes he knows the Gris-gris man.He would prefer living in the City to the country and would like to work as a plumber / heating engineer in Paris when he leaves Sautou. He does not wish to return to Mali.
Then team leader, me from England [only leader for the day, Fredo is leader next time]
Then we have Ahad who is from Bangledesh, who tells me his native tongue is Bangla (Bengali) or Hindi and his second language English. He is rapidly learning French but prefers being at Sautou than College, because it is very hard in lessons to understand anything. He will get there though, he is a bright lad.and think what chances he will have with 4 languages spoken fluently.He wants to work in an office in London
Anke Terbruggen is next from Holland and enjoyed the young people as much as I did.
Then Fredo from France who lives now full time at Sautou and according to the others loves working, and loves Sautou, Jean Marie and Winnie and he enjoys building and generally helping.
I told them they would be in TAG and they joked that maybe readers would want their autographs. Taking them home in the car we talked of football, Malc would have been proud of me.
A reader has commented that perhaps Ahad does not realise that his fingers held in that way is rude. My thought is , he is a young lad full of fun and probably knows quite well!
