Take care travelling north

Record amounts of rain are causing serious flooding in the north of France. The A10 near Orleans is submerged and many railways are cut.
One river in Loiret has already passed its previous high water mark, set in 1910. Blois in the Loire valley has had twice the previous record amount of rain for May.
If you are travelling by car to the north it will be worth keeping an eye on the traffic reports.
