Rocamadour third

In the annual TV search for France's favourite village this year saw the entry from the new enlarged region was Rocamadour in the Lot.
Known for its position and its importance on the route of St Jacques de Compostelle the village attracts thousands of tourists and pilgrims each year.
As with St Antonin last year, the village was placed third in the competition. In recent years Midi Pyrenees villages have taken two firsts (St Cirq Lapopie and Cordes sue Ciel) and two third places, underlining the beauty of the place where we live.
