Twice in the last few days I have been thanked for the information on the blog. Even Malc and I find it useful and often look things up.
Yesterday I ended up being given the vaccine for tetanus by our Doctor and she suggested Malc also had a tetanus vaccination. She knew all about the donkeys and us working hours in the garden and grounds from the very active blog.
Interestingly since working with Via Sahel at Castanet we have made many French friends and working with like minded French with the refugees we have made more French friends and gained them as readers.
My French must have improved but I still make horrendous mistakes and if I only I had the time to rectify the mistakes I would feel better. How often do you walk away from a conversation thinking I wish I could go back and do it all again? Yes, even the excellent French speakers like Malc admit to me, they realise later the errors they have made.
I suppose the main thing is to keep trying.
