Dolls' hospital opens

A Toulouse school has seen a complete hospital ward open - to treat teddy bears and other favourite peluches. But this is not simply an expensive way to repair toys, but a tool to educate young children about hospital procedures and to allay their fears if they need to go for treatment.
The operation is mounted by medical students and is also intended to teach children aspects of hygiene and safety as well as basic human biology - what's more the students get to meet little children, and their teddy bears. The exercise will run until 18th March.
