No need to panic, we have a shop open Monday at Laguepie, it is called " le Laguepicerie"I have not used it yet but this morning I can nip in for a couple of probably not essential bits, but one likes to be sure.
We have a goose and we have made sage and onion and chestnut and apricot stuffing. We have the sprouts and parsnips essential for me to make Christmas lunch and I will of course be making Yorkshire puddings. My mother always gave Yorkshire puddings and gravy as a starter but as we have another starter not sure what I will do.
Glynis Howgego has made our " figgy pudding".
We have party hats and noisy blowers which deaf Twister hates as he does hear high pitches noises like those and car horns ( might ditch the blowers) and so he sits up and barks.
One of our guests had bought Christmas crackers but given them to the initial Christmas Day party holders. They suddenly had to go home for an unexpected family emergency but forgot to hand on the crackers. The couple will be reading this saying "oh, no we forgot the crackers" Do not worry we will still pull a cracker on your return.
Hope all your festive preparations are going well wherever you are in the world.
