I feel very much like a country cousin in the big city, we are now so used to our french country life, not wearing my walking boots or wellies takes some getting used to.
So far it has been such a nice change, except coming out of the car park in Toulouse at 5 pm and taking half an hour to get out which reminded us what life can be like living in a big city.
We are staying in an apartment overlooking the canal and it was lovely to see a small cabin cruiser pass which was a bit like the one we owned in Henley.
The young couple who have gone off to oversee Mas del Sol did not look fazed by the thought of amorous donkeys and in fact had huge grins on their faces as we told them and they left.
Off now to get ready to go to a recommended fish restaurant up the road.
