Delighted to say we have one in the garden which I have to keep rescuing from the Jack Russell. I don’t think he is doing anything other than trying to play and ends up worse for wear as you can imagine. Should they not be hibernating yet ? If unusually active, should I put down some catfood ?

Val says the- abnormally warm weather will keep hedgehogs out and about a bit longer and as far as I can see in our garden there is still plenty for them to eat ( including the ever present giant slug)
