English student in Toulouse attacked

Charlotte a student in Toulouse was returning to her parked car late at night at  l’université de Toulouse-Mirail  car park when she was approached by a man carrying a knife. As Charlotte had the car door open the man pushed in but Charlotte instinctively pushed him and he overbalanced onto the car mirror. At the same time two other students arrived in the car park and the man ran off. Charlotte was not injured but was very shocked and when she reported the incident she felt sure the man was going to steal the car but was surprised that the steering wheel was on the wrong side. So some benefits of a right hand car here in France.
