Money raised from you the reader for the two charities is doing well. Last night after take offs for the money spent on food we have 280 euros for the donkeys [ ten more than we thought as we realise we have some sausages left over] We also handed over cheques on the night for 45 euros with another 40 still to go from adverts on the TAG site. So a cheque will be sent to Liberte des Anes today for 320 euros.( since writing this another cheque has arrived in the post for 35euros)
We were surprised last night that we also had a stand out with the classic library books donated by a reader called Helen. TAG would like to thank Helen and tell her that the money keeps rolling in from the sale of these books and we gave yet another 50 euros to Jean Marie Nosal for the street children of Bamako.
The next event at the Domaine de Sautou will be the STERNDALE SINGERS on 24th Aug. After the singing there will be a buffet and because of this reservations will be needed tel. 0563657264 or 0660673374 Although the buffet is free, donations to the children of Mali will be gratefully received.
