The reports of my death were greatly exaggerated

So said the letter sent to the London Press on a report of the death of Mark Twain
Letter received today from Alice and then my reply.
Dear Val,

It is with great delight that I write to let you know that the Baker in Laguepie is well and his shop is open for business again.

So perhaps now might be a good time to write a retraction about reporting the poor mans' death, to support him returning to work and needing the support of all his previous customers ?

you really must keep up to date. 

The retraction about his death was printed straight away in one of the earlier posts, once the rumour was quashed and in fact the day before yesterday TAG printed the news of the baker's reopening
