Resi started teaching classes almost 35
years ago and also organized exhibitions whilst running her own shop in Veghel
(Netherlands
She has developed her many talents using a
wide range of skills and techniques to further her interests and now offers
courses in several disciplines.
If you are interested you can join her
classes in Modeling, Sculpting and Painting in her atelier in Saint Grat on
Monday-, Tuesday- and Wednesdaymornings from 10.00 till 12.30.
You only pay 12 Euros per morning.
Resi finds her inspiration in nature: the
shape of the nodes in a tree, flowers that bloom in the garden, the animals in
the meadows, invite her to start painting, modelling or textile creations.
During walks she finds things that she will use later in her creations: the
horn of a cow, a piece of wood or a strangely shaped shell.
Her work is a pilgrimage through a whole
range of techniques; it combines heterogeneous materials and objects in turn.
This quest leads to a rich inspiration which Resi materialises in her favorite
media: painting in oil, modelling with clay, stone cutting, textile creations,
designing and making unique pieces of jewellery.
Her creations emerge slowly from her hands, according to the co-operation and
interactions of the various materials she is working with.
In all areas of her work Resi uses a
multiplicity of technical mastery combined with excellence, which is expressed
through her art to reveal part of her soul. Life in the French countryside
offers Resi the peace and space she needs to create.
