A very warm morning but a wishy washy sky, lots of kestrel activity, we are wondering if eggs have been laid. There are 3 nesting holes in the gite wall, last years preference was the one nearest to this house and it would appear that is happening again this year.
We have kestrels swooping past the window and Eldo the dog trying to catch flies. He jumps in the air and does amazing turns like an acrobat in the pursuit of fly catching. He must have forgotten the wasp sting he got last year. The cats are watching with interest cleaning paws after their breakfast.
Donkeys are happy in the field which has rich grass at the moment.
