What a brilliant book swap

Well if ever we needed an influx of new fab! books we got it this morning.
Chris and I exclaimed to each other  "it is just like Christmas"
Helen and David Graham kindly took multi carrier bags home for me, to bring back in January. If you  could not make today make sure you come at the beginning of January, some crackers there!
I of course embarassed myself going around with a handful of socks asking for 2 euros for refugees. The embarrassement was worth it as now have 24 pairs of socks and 72 euros for my efforts.
With 140 left from buying underpants (money from TAG adverts) that means I have 212 euros still to spend on clothes.
Interesting some of the comments this morning about the  regional elections in France. People seemed either not to know there had been elections or not understand the significance if they did. Obviously not regular TAG readers.
It is complicated to understand and if you do not speak the language even more so.
I wondered how many Uk migrants live in a bubble of Britishness and how long we will be able to continue like this if we are not part of Europe and under FN control.
I do not want to be alarmist and I hope that next Sunday enough parties can join together to get votes and combat slightly the alarming rise of the FN
