Amazing what can be discovered with autopsy searches these days. This body of the noblewomen Louise de Quengo which was discovered in 2014 in a work site at Rennes in an exceptionally good state. A collaboration between Rennes and Toulouse scientists have discovered that Louise entered the convent des Jacobins de Rennes, lived into her sixties and died from an infectious disease. The body was preserved as it had been in a lead coffin and the scientists only had 3 days to work before decomposition sit in.
Described as an autopsy a little banal but an adventure in science.
I find it quite fascinating.
