Chelsea fans, should be totally ashamed and horrified at some of their supporters behaviour on the Paris Metro. A black man was pushed off and refused entry to the train whilst the unruly hooligans shouted " we are racist and that is the way we like it" One expat Peter Nolan who works in Paris, filmed the events and sent it to the Guardian but what surprises me is other passengers standing round did nothing to help the black men or show their disapproval. I watched the video practically jumping out of my seat to shout "no stop this"
French police apparently used tear gas outside the match with scuffles involving Chelsea thugs. The club condemns their action. Is that enough condemning their action.
Now if it was me I would ban their next game making all the supporters suffer and then perhaps the racist element would get short shrift from serious supporters.
Behaviour like this tarnishes the whole club.
